Establish definitions and provide clarity
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives and Senators in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Clarity Act’.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by Sen. xEndeavour
(4) Co-Sponsored by Sen. xEndeavour.
2 - Reasons
(1) To provide clarity when phrases and words are undefined or when meaning of a phrase or word is unclear.
3 - Dictionary
(1) The official dictionary of the Commonwealth of Redmont will be the Oxford Dictionary.
4 - Terms
(1) American English and English are used interchangeably in Redmont. Minor differences in spelling will not impact the intended definition of a word in the context that it is written.
(2) Any words or phrases defined in Redmont Law will take Precedence over the dictionary definition.
