The Public Defender Director has decided to open up an expression of interest forum for those with extensive legal experience to express interest in the role of Public Defender. We would like to emphasize the apolitical role this is and ask that people respect this process by not campaigning, endorsing, or explicitly supporting any individual for such a role.

PUBLIC DEFENDER DIRECTOR INFORMATION

A public defender is a legal professional who is responsible for representing individuals who cannot afford to hire a private attorney in criminal cases or civil cases.

  3. In your own words, please explain the role of a Public Defender. The role of a public defender is to provide a strong defense in the pursuit of representing an individual or individuals who cannot normally afford a private attorney in criminal or civil cases.
  4. What motivated you to pursue a career as a Public Defender? As someone who has a strong interest in law and ensuring that there's a strong defense given for every person, if everyone is equal under the law, then we must ensure that every person has the best possible representation in our courts. As a new attorney, I think this would be a great opportunity to gain experience.
  5. Why do you think you are a good fit for the position of Public Defender? I think that my determination and legal acumen would be well suited for this position. I think that my understanding of where a potential client might be coming from also helps.
  6. What legal experience do you have in-game? Nothing yet, I'm hoping that if I can get a position here that I could gain experience. Unfortunately, the private sector seems to have few jobs right now.
  7. List and explain 1-3 of your strengths and 1-3 weaknesses. My strengths are that I'm determined, detailed oriented, and intelligible. My weaknesses are that I can be zealous, overburden myself, and be overly confident.

4What motivated you to pursue a career as a public defender? I have been training with magistrate Jakovyk To learn law and we have spent more than a hour going over everything that i need. I have learned that i was once in a postion where i could not afford a lawyer. I realized that everyone should have a lawyer even though If you don't have enough money. That is why i have been motivated to pursue a career as a public defender.
5 Why do you think you are a good fit as a public defender. I think i am a good fit as a public defender because i like to help people with not a-lot of money. I think that helping people in a legal role would suit me well. Because i always try my best no matter if i like my client or not
6 What legal experience do you have ingame Personally i do not have any legal experience in-game But i have worked at a law firm as a paralegal. I have done training with Jakovyk as i have told you

In your own words, please explain the role of a Public Defender.
A public defender is to defend those who cannot afford a lawyer and provide good representation for those people, because everybody deserves a good lawyer, no matter how much money they may have
What motivated you to pursue a career as a Public Defender?
I want to help those people who cannot afford a lawyer. Being a public defender is an important job, one that is necessary, but one that is often overlooked
Why do you think you are a good fit for the position of Public Defender?
I believe I am a good fit for a public defender because I genuinely believe in helping people. I once had a business as a defense lawyer. I want to instead help people directly instead of charging them money.
What legal experience do you have in-game?
I was a State Prosecutor

Strengths:
1. I am a good debator
2. I am good at speaking and English
3. I am committed to this since the law is my passion
Weakness:
1. I am forgetful at times
2. I can be distracted easily
3. I can also be busy at times, but for the most part have time

In your own words, please explain the role of a Public Defender. To defend the person's who can't afford an Attorney and are provided on by the State.

What motivated you to pursue a career as a Public Defender? I want to get back to the Legal Profession and believe that this would help I work at Redmont Law(Sumos Firm)

Why do you think you are a good fit for the position of Public Defender?I have experience with Law on Democracycraft and Buisnesscraft.

What legal experience do you have in-game? Should be like 2 or 3 cases.

lStrengths: Teamwork, Time, Experience

Weaknesses: To focused on certain unimportant points, sometimes my English because I am not native speaker, and I may be pessimistic because want things to stay the same.
