1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Jail Activities amendment Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative RoryyyMC

2 - Reasons
(1) with the new jail Activities act you can get out of jail within 20 seconds this ruins the point of going to jail as you can get out in 20 seconds this act will lengthening that by few minutes per sentence .


3 - Amendment

replaces

1 piece of cobblestone: Takes away 5 seconds
1 piece of coal: Takes away a minute
1 piece of iron: Takes away a minute and 30 seconds
1 piece of gold: Takes away 2 minutes
1 piece of diamond: Takes away 2 minutes and 30 seconds

With

1 piece of cobblestone: Takes away 5 seconds
1 piece of coal: Takes away 20 seconds
1 piece of iron: Takes away 30 seconds
1 piece of gold: Takes away 1 minutes
1 piece of diamond: Takes away 2 minutes

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ''Jail Mine Fix Act".
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative lcn.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Representative zLost.

2 - Reasons
(1) The jail mine is often filled with blocks that cannot be traded in exchange for less jail time.
(2) To clarify the terms of the act.
(3) To fix grammatical errors.

3- Amendments to the Jail Activities Act
"3 - Terms
(1) A mini soccer field with a soccer ball shall be added to jail.
(2) Mining for cobblestone will still be allowed, but ores will be added, information about the ores will be down below:
(1) A mine shall be built in the prison consisting of 70% stone, 15% coal ore, 10% iron ore, 4% gold ore, and 1% diamond ore.
(2) Ores and blocks mined in the mine shall be traded to the government in exchange for less jail time:

1 piece of cobblestone: Takes away 5 seconds
1 piece of coal: Takes away 20 seconds
1 piece of raw iron: Takes away 30 seconds
1 piece of raw gold: Takes away 1 minutes
1 piece of diamond: Takes away 2 minutes

-70% cobblestone
-15% coal
-10% iron
-3% gold
-1% diamond"

2 - Reasons
(1) Criminals are jailed for large amounts of time for their crimes.
(2) Players can mine for 2-3 minutes and eliminate all of their time, only serving those 2-3 minutes; very few Criminals are actually punished for their crimes.
(3) To prevent repeat crimes, Criminals should actually learn what they did wrong. Our current system enables abuse via jail time reduction, which must be stop.

3 - Terms
(1) A mine shall be built in the prison consisting of 70% 80% stone, 15% 10% coal ore, 10% 5% iron ore, 4% 3% gold ore, and 1% 2% diamond ore.
(2) Ores and blocks mined in the mine shall be traded to the government in exchange for less jail time:

1 piece of coal: Takes away 20 10 seconds
1 piece of raw iron: Takes away 30 20 seconds
1 piece of raw gold: Takes away 1 minutes 45 seconds
1 piece of diamond: Takes away 2 minutes 60 seconds

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative BabySoga.

2 - Reasons
(1) The jail mine is too overpowered and allows players to reduce their served jail sentence by as much as 90%, if not more (based on a 10 minute sentence).
(2) Reducing the time taken off by ores will incentivise a greater quantity of ores to be mined.
(3) Reducing the rarity of ores themselves will incentivise players to spend more time mining to search for ores that reduce a greater portion of a jail sentence.

3 - Amendment
Jail Activities Act (link) shall be amended as follows:
(1) A mine shall be built in the prison consisting of 80% 90% stone, 10% 4% coal ore, 5% 3% iron ore, 3% 2% gold ore, and 2% 1% diamond ore.
(2) Ores and blocks mined in the mine shall be traded to the government in exchange for less jail time:

1 piece of cobblestone: Takes away 2 1 seconds
1 piece of coal: Takes away 10 5 seconds
1 piece of raw iron: Takes away 20 12 seconds
1 piece of raw gold: Takes away 45 15 seconds
1 piece of diamond: Takes away 60 20 seconds
