Amend the Oakridge Commerce Opportunity Act to Incentivize Affordable Housing​

The citizens of Oakridge, through their elected Representatives in the Town-Council and the force of law ordained to that Town-Council by the people through the constitution of Oakridge, do hereby enact the following provisions into the by-laws:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Affordable Apartments Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Head of Commerce lcn
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Head of Residence and Mayor Yeet_Boy

2 - Reasons
(1) Increase the incentive of apartment creation and maintenance in Main Street Oakridge Commercial plots.
(2) Create an incentive for the apartments to be affordable.

Section 6 of the Oakridge Commerce Opportunity Act will be amended from:
6- Apartment Bonus Grant
(1) The Apartment Creation Bonus Grant will provide a $1000 per apartment bonus to landlords in Oakridge who create and maintain apartments on Main Street commercial plots.
(2) Apartment requirements:
(a) 60m² area (60 blocks floorspace)
(b) A bed, crafting table, furnace, and double chest
(3) The applicant may reapply every three months for this grant. The apartments must be maintained the entire time.

To:
6- Apartment Bonus Grant
(1) The Apartment Creation Bonus Grant will provide a $1500 per apartment bonus to landlords in Oakridge who create and maintain apartments on Main Street commercial plots.
(2) The landlord will also get a $500 extra bonus if the rent is less than $100 per 30 days.
(3) Apartment requirements:
(a) 60m² area (60 blocks floorspace)
(b) A bed, crafting table, furnace, and double chest
(4) The applicant may reapply every three months for this grant. The apartments must be maintained the entire time.
(5) Main Street Commercial Plots are defined as Or-c001 through Or-c025.
