Protect the privacy of department employees during audits and ensure fairness amongst department secretaries​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives and Senators in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Anti Down Bad VPs Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) In the event a Vice President serves as Secretary over a department, they have access to the unfiltered responses of their department’s audit.
(2) Normally, secretaries only have access to filtered and prepared reports of audits.
(3) If department employees know that the secretary has access to who said what, it may prompt them to be less honest.
(4) Having access to unfiltered reports may result in retaliation against department employees from the Secretary.

3 - The Official Stuff
(1) In the event a Vice President serves as Secretary over a department, they will not be involved in preparing the report alongside the President and the auditor.
(2) In the event a Vice President serves as Secretary over a department, they cannot have access to their department’s channel within the Department of State’s discord server or any information regarding auditing assignments in relation to their department.
