Propose a Budget for the Month of February
(1) Notes
a. This is by no means an exhaustive list of all expenses, as salaries are impossible to track with our current plugin;
b. Commissions are included;
c. All government departments, the Legislative branch, and the Judicial branch will receive a monthly budget;
d. The Judicial budget does not include court payouts and fines.
(2) Departments will be apportioned the following from the Government Balance for the month of February:
a. Department of Justice (DoJ) $20,000;
b. Department of Education and Commerce (DEC): $250,000;
c. Department of Public Affairs (DPA): $35,000;
d. Department of Construction and Transport (DCT) $150,000;
e. Department of Health (DoH): $15,000;
f. Department of Environment and Recreation (DER): $15,000;
g. Department of State (DoS): $80,000
(3) Branches and Additional Entities will be apportioned the following from the Government Balance for the month of February:
a. The Legislature; $2,000
b. The Judiciary; $10,000
c. The Office of the Attorney General; $5,000
(4) Budget Tracking
In the #budget channel, all departments, branches, and additional entities will be required to report any spending over a certain threshold:
a. DoJ, report all spending over $100;
b. DEC, report all spending over $8,000;
c. DPA, report all spending over $2,000;
d. DCT, report all spending over $300;
e. DoH, report all spending over $250;
f. DER, report all spending over $2,000;
g. DoS, report all spending over $250;
h. Legislature, report all spending over $0;
i. Judiciary, report all spending over $0; and
j. AG, report all spending over $0;
(5) Fiscal Accounts
All Departments finances shall be re-appropriated to the aforementioned allocations on the first day of February or as practicable soon thereafter.
(6) Funds Purpose
The Department Of Education And Commerce may not use their appropriated funds for a bail-out or any other non-intended and irregular purposes without congressional approval.
