Propose a Budget for the Month of November

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Appropriations Act - NOV 2024.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted on November 1, 2024.
(3) This Act has been authored by Vice President lcn, President UnityMaster, and Speaker CaseyLeFaye.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. MathTech.

2 - Reasons
(1) To propose a budget for the month of November.

3 - Notes
(1) This is an exhaustive list of all expenses.
(2) Commissions are included.
(3) All government departments, the Legislative branch, and the Judicial branch will receive a monthly budget.
(4) The judicial budget does not include court payouts and fines.

4 - Departments will be apportioned the following from the Government Balance:
(1) Department of State (DOS): $200,000;
(2) Department of Homeland Security (DHS) $50,000;
(3) Department of Justice (DOJ): $240,000;
(4) Department of Commerce (DOC): $450,000;
(5) Department of Public Affairs (DPA): $350,000;
(6) Department of Construction and Transportation (DCT) $275,000;
(7) Department of Health (DOH): $125,000;
(8) Department of Interior (DOI): $300,000;
(9) Department of Education (DOE): $350,000.

5 - Presidential Reserve
(1) The President will have a discretionary fund for the purposes of appropriating to executive departments as required. This reserve is set at: $25,000

6 - Branches and Additional Entities will be apportioned the following from the Government Balance:
(1) Legislature (LEG): $2,500
(2) Judiciary (JUD): $30,000

7 - Budget Tracking
(1) In the ⁠#budget channel, all departments, branches, and additional entities will be required to report any spending over: $0
(2) Expenditure commands from all departments, branches, and additional entities sent in the ⁠budget channel will require a <reason> argument at the end of the command prior to being sent.

8 - Fiscal Accounts
(1) All Departments — as well as the Legislature and Judiciary — shall have a Minecraft account, which shall be apportioned as the monthly budget in its balance. The entities and the names of their respective account shall be:
(a) DOS: DCGovernmentDS;
(b) DHS: DCGovernmentDHS;
(c) DOJ: DCGovernmentDOJ;
(d) DOC: DCGovernmentDOC;
(e) DPA: DCGovernmentDPA;
(f) DCT: DCGovernmentDCT;
(g) DOH: DCGovernmentDOH;
(h) DOI: DCGovernmentDOI;
(i) DOE: DCGovernmentDOE;
(j) LEG: DCGovernmentLEG;
(k) JUD: DCGovernmentJUD.

9 - Spending Regulation
(1) Department funds are not to be appropriated for the purposes of bonuses totaling more than $10,000 per month, per Department.
