General Notes
The Cabinet and Ambassadors met up in this first meeting of the term, to discuss departmental updates and international matters, including the Olympics. The discussions were productive in ensuring everyone was up to date on departmental operations. In addition, player integration initiatives including the government occupation guides were discussed.

Department Operations and Goals
Departments expressed a general push for reform and upkeep within their internal structures.

DOS:
  • Electoral Officers handling the Senate Special Election and Oakridge Bay Mayoral Election
  • Channels have been in the process of reorganization.
  • Audits have begun on certain towns.
  • Department is looking to begin audits on the DOH, DPA, and DEC.
  • Department's plan is to release the SOTC Report early next month.
DOJ:
  • Police have been handling a rise in cases of mass animal murders.
  • Department has faced some difficulties with employee motivation.
  • Secretary established an "Office Hours" program to allow employees to communicate directly with them.
  • Department has implemented open charge bonuses.
  • Department's plan is to reinforce policy foundations with officers.
  • Department is considering new structures and reforms to squads.
DEC:
  • Secretary has been restoring processes within the department following inconsistences in department oversight from the previous Secretary.
  • Department has been dealing with grants, billboards, and other regular processes on a frequent basis.
  • The process of removing inactive employees has just recently begun.
DPA:
  • Department has been dealing with the Olympics.
  • Secretary is in the process of simplifying the discord.
  • Department plans to reorganize policies.
DCT:
  • Secretary has been working to improve processes of the player build world.
  • Department has continued build classes.
  • Expansions to the black market are under consideration.
  • Reforms are set to be made to the paste fee system
  • Construction of presidential libraries are in progress.
DOH:
  • Doctor exams were re-opened.
  • Secretary discussed ideas for the drug dispensary concept and changes to the expensive hospital pharmacy.
  • Considered and debated the ideas and concerns of moving the doctor profession to a government occupation.
  • Department will be announcing doctor of the month for February in a few days.
OAG:
  • Department was restructured into teams.
  • Multiple criminal cases are in the works.

Ambassador and International Operations
Ambassadors have been at work dealing with the Olympics in conjunction with the Secretary of Public Affairs and of State.

Ambassador to Stratham:
  • Stratham's government has been fairly quiet in terms of international communication.
  • There has been limited availability from their Ambassador, Gabi__.
  • Currently working on communication with Olympics. However, the Ambassador has had to push for talks, as Stratham has made limited efforts to communicate about scheduling.
  • Redmont Ambassador Nacholebraa noted ideas about having a DEC and DoE summit.
Ambassador to Harlon:
  • Not much has went on in Harlon's government.
  • There were a few rescheduling of Olympic events in Harlon.
  • Prime Minister of Harlon proposed establishing an international hockey league to the Redmont Ambassador, Drew_Hall.

Nomination Discussion
Cabinet and the Ambassadors discussed on the nomination of the Ambassadors to United Land and to Vindex. It was determined after some debate that LavenderxBlaxii would be nominated to the position of Ambassador to United Land given her experience, activity, and language skills. As for Vindex Ambassador, the Cabinet agreed to wait for more expressions of interest in order to have a good list of candidates.

Intergovernmental Projects
The President discussed details and addressed concerns about the initiative to create new guides for each government occupation, to help new players apply for and learn about different roles in departments. The Cabinet agreed upon a timeline to complete all these guides by early March.
