Ongoings of Committees:

Newly Representative Nacholebraa (PA) introduced and created an executive oversight committee: The committee is currently working through vetting potential secretary picks. As well as investigating current concerns within a few Executive Departments on the grounds of poor leadership, as well as employees mistreatment.

Independent States Committee, Poemhunter (DRP): (Yet to respond)

Legal Oversight and Reform Committee, Matthew100x (PA): Created a major reformation bill that changed the judicial branch in it's entirety. This bill is still in the process of being rolled out but we're excited to see how these changes will effect legal gameplay. Additionally it helped panel the Judicial Standards Act which has since been entirely amended by the Judicial Structural Reform Constitutional Amendment

Economics Committee, Trentrick_Lamar (BDP): The economics committee as of last was discussing the feasibility and controversiality of adding a sales tax alongside analyzing whether UBI rates could be: (a) raised without major detriment to the government balance; or (b) lowered due to taking too much money. The last point I brought up was the preservation of the meat industry through the re-implementation of the stockman job and thus the enactment of the Wagyu resolution. None of this has come to fruition due to the acting secretary focusing on the DEC's declining state

Budget Committee Matthew100x (PA): Passed the President's budget after passing our own amended budget that was rejected by the President


Ongoings in Congress:
This will be our first month with the new congress! Congrats to all newly elected and re-elected representatives and senators. Jontary was banned upon his own request which resulted in Th0re being welcomed into the House. Fieweyy resigned which resulted in the special election in which Tekkovvs was elected to the House. Ansgard took on the role of Ambassador which resulted in the special election in which Nacholebraa was elected to the Senate.
