Case Filing
IN THE FEDERAL COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
CIVIL ACTION
Dartanboy
Plaintiff
v.
Commonwealth of Redmont
Defendant
COMPLAINT
The Plaintiff complains against the Defendant as follows:
The Allegiance Amendment Act (link: Bill: Rejected - Allegiance Amendment Act) received 6 votes of "Aye" in the House of Representatives. Recognizing that 6/11 is a majority, the bill should have passed and been sent to the Senate.
For some reason, however, it was never sent to the Senate and was marked as "Rejected."
I. PARTIES
1. Dartanboy, a concerned citizen
2. The Commonwealth of Redmont
II. FACTS
1. The Allegiance Amendment Act received 6 votes of "Aye", a majority, yet was listed as "Rejected" [Exhibit P-001].
III. CLAIMS FOR RELIEF
1. The Legislative Standards Act (and by extension, the Constitution) states that in this situation, "the Presiding Officer will change the Bill status to Bill: Pending and move it to the Senate" (see Information - Legislative Standards Act)
IV. PRAYER FOR RELIEF
The Plaintiff seeks the following from the Defendant:
1. The bill be moved to the Senate and voted upon
2. $500 in Nominal Damages.
