TO
make the causing of non-contagious diagnoses illegal.
The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the "Disease Causation Act".
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was authored by Representative Th0re_
2 - Purpose
(1) The purpose of this bill is to make the causing of non-contagious diseases on other citizens illegal.
(2) The purpose of this bill is also to decrease the cost citizens have to pay, when they get a disease caused by another player.
3 - Reasons
(1) The causing of (non-contagious)diseases on other players, without their consent, is technically not illegal.
(2) The current Laws only cover contagious diseases.
(3) Any Citizen who received a non-contagious disease/diagnosis/injury by another citizen, has to pay for the cure from their own personal balance.
4 – Terms
Add the following to the 12.0 - Medical laws section :
12.6 - Causing of a disease
The unconsented cause of a non-contagious disease/diagnosis/injury, where another citizen receives a non-contagious diagnosis, visible via /health and or in chat, from another player.
Per Offence : Fined the cost of the cure (DoH Price) + an additional fine of $10
(the cost of the cure (DoH Price) will then be granted to the citizen who received the diagnosis).
