<Fill in a parties missing seat with the runner up>
The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Electoral party swap Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This will be treated as a constitutional amendment
2 - Reasons
(1) It's fair to every party
(2) PR is confusing for everyone to run off of and causes a lot of problems
(3) This act will allow for less fights
3 - Enactments
(1) when a member of congress resigns the next member of their ran party with the majority vote take their seat
(2) if the congress member ran as an independent the next person with the majority vote will take place
(3) if the member ran with a party and is now an independent the vote will go to the party they ran as
(4) this may only happen once for a party, if two members of the party quit one will be elected from the party and one with be elected from majority votes
