IN THE COURT OF DEMOCRACYCRAFT
CIVIL ACTION

ElementPenguin; Hamilton Law,
Plaintiff

v.

The State
Defendant

COMPLAINT
The Plaintiff complains against the Defendant as follows:
The recent bill, cited as Mich's Law, is clearly unconstitutional and violates the ultimately important separation of powers. This bill is attempting to effectively overturn Case No. 08-2020-21 (Budgetmich v. The State). This case created very important common law, in which it was decided that a candidate must accrue all election requirements prior to the beginning of the election period. In the event that this law comes into force, this piece of common law will be overturned. This grossly violates the Preamble of our Constitution, which states "The Government of DemocracyCraft is separated into three arms of Government: the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judiciary." The court set a precedent of common law through the case which was cited above, this common law should stand.

I. PARTIES
1. ElementPenguin; Hamilton Law (Plaintiff)
2. The State (Defendant)

II. FACTS
1. Congress has passed a Law, cited as "Mich's Law", which attempts to amend the constitution in order to effectively overturn a court decision (08-2020-21).
2. President Westray did not sign this bill, he instead decided to put it up for referendum.
3. At the time of the submission of this case, the referenda is in favor of the amendment, 14-6.
4. In the event the referenda succeeds, the court case will be overturned and a constitutional crisis will occur, in which the Congress can legislate decisions made by the Judiciary.

III. CLAIMS FOR RELIEF
1. "Mich's Law" is an unconstitutional bill, so it should be striken.

IV. PRAYER FOR RELIEF
The Plaintiff seeks the following:
1. To completely strike "Mich's Law" and all edits made to the constitution due to it.
2. Halt the referendum on "Mich's Law" in the event it is still ongoing.

Witnesses:
- President Westray
- Former President xEndeavour

DATED: This 19th day of October, 2020.

Your honor, I retract my case.

The court recognizes that the case has been retracted. The court would warn the plaintiff to fully weigh their options before filing for future cases. This case is dismissed.
