BILL
TO

Amend the Miscellaneous Offences Act

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Enslavement Definition Overhaul Act' or the ‘EDO Act’
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by: Rep. Pepecuu
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by: Rep. Kaiserin

2 - Reasons
(1) The verdict by Judge JuniperFig in the case ‘lcn v. The Commonwealth of Redmont [2025] FCR 33’ has caused much debate over the utility of “Enslavement” in its current definition under the Miscellaneous Offences Act.
(2) The definition of “Enslavement” as a criminal offence has no proper utility in context of Redmontian gameplay, and therefore remains redundant and unenforceable within the court of law.

3 - Amendment
§4.2 of the Miscellaneous Offences Act shall be amended as follows:
(2) Enslavement (Original: Icypenguin79 - Feb 22, 2021)Involuntary Servitude (Original: Pepecuu - April 11, 2025)
(i) Classification: Indictable Criminal Offense

Actions constituting coercion include but are not limited to: manipulation, and the use of explicit or implicit threats or actions of violence or blackmail, towards the person or entity being enslaved.
