Mandating the Resumption of the Pruning Tax for Netherite Acquisition

By the authority vested in me as President under the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Redmont, I hereby order the following:

Section 1. Resumption of the Pruning Tax​

1. The pruning tax shall be reinstated effective immediately across the Commonwealth of Redmont.
2. The rate, scope, and collection mechanisms of the pruning tax shall align with previously established legislation and administrative procedures.

Section 2. Exclusive Allocation of Funds​

1. All revenue generated from the pruning tax shall be allocated exclusively to the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB).
2. The FRB is mandated to utilize these funds solely for the purpose of acquiring Netherite to back the Redmont Dollar (R$) in accordance with Executive Order No. 3/2025: Declaration of the Netherite Standard for the Redmont Dollar.

Section 3. Oversight and Reporting​

1. The FRB shall maintain detailed records of all pruning tax revenue received and its subsequent use for Netherite acquisitions.
2. Monthly reports shall be issued by the FRB to the public via #government-announcements, detailing:
   a. Total pruning tax revenue received.
   b. Quantities of Netherite acquired.
   c. Current reserve levels and the percentage of currency backed by Netherite.

Section 4. Effective Date​

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon issuance.
