Free Public Transportation Act

Section 1. Short Title

  1. This bill shall be cited as the “Free Public Transportation Act” or the “FPT Act”.

Section 2. Definitions

  1. Public Transportation - Any and all transportation systems set up by the Department of Construction and Transportation for the use of the public. Including the current trams and the subway.

Section 3. Reasoning

  1. To encourage the citizens of Democracy Craft to use a safer option of transportation and allow quick mobility for all economic statuses on the server.

  1. With an excess in government funding, the money made from the DCT transportation systems is no longer needed to maintain our public transportation. Appropriated government funds to the DCT can now be used to maintain the transportation systems.

Section 4. Changes

  1. All public transportation shall now be free of charge to all citizens of Democracy Craft.

  1. All public transportation use will now be financed through the government’s discretionary funds appropriated to the DCT.

  1. The maintenance of public transportation and new transportation projects will be financed through the government's discretionary funds appropriated to the DCT.

Section 5. Enactment

  1. This Act shall be in effect immediately upon the signature of the President.
