Update the Health and Medical Offenses Act​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Health Offenses Clarification Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative TheReal42Person.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. CopTop_YT.

2 - Reasons
(1) There are multiple acts that were not repealed by the Standardized Criminal Code Act, and they conflict with the Health and Medical Offenses Act.
(2) Conflicting laws need to be removed.
(3) Certain punishments are outdated and need to be increased.

3 - Repeals
(1) Contagious Clarification Act (DONKEY KONG Act stays repealed)
(2) Freedom of Health Act

4 - The “Saviour Act” shall be amended as follows:
(11) Abusing /emt
A person is guilty if found with a frivolous use of the /emt command, or outside the use for medical purposes, will be punished as follow:
First offence: Verbal warning.
Second offence: $40 Fine.
Third offence: $60 Fine + 5 minute jail time.

(12) Entering an ambulance without permisson
A citizen found entering the ambulance of a Paramedic, without being attended to by the proper /emt-attend command.
Per offense: $40 fine


5 - The “Health and Medical Offenses Act” shall be amended as follows:
“(4) Unauthorized Medical Sales (Original: 218218Consumer - Sep 12, 2021)
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of distributing pharmaceutical or medical goods on the property of government-owned medical facilities without approval from the Department of Health.
Per Offense: $500 Fine

(5) Abusing /emt
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of frivolously using the /emt command.
Per Offense: $100 fine

(6) Entering an Ambulance Without Permission
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of entering an ambulance without permission from the Paramedic who owns it.
Per Offense: $60 fine

(7) Doctors Selling in Bulk
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
Doctors, not Pharmacists, over-supplying medical objectives required to treat an illness.
1st Offense: Verbal Warning + Report to Health Secretary
2nd Offense: $80 fine + Report to Health Secretary
3rd Offense: $100 fine + Report to Health Secretary
