Outlaw Impersonation of a government official illegal

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Impersonation Act”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was penned by former representative BubbaRC with approval from former DOJ secretary JoanM999
(4) This Bill was Edited and re-proposed with permission from BubbaRC
(5) This Act has been co-sponsored by: Representative 1950minecrafter

2 - Reasoning
It is technically legal to impersonate a government official right now leading to all sorts of trouble

3 - Crime
(1) under miscellaneous laws a new law shall be created named "impersonation of a government official"
(a) impersonation of a government official shall be defined as "the act of pretending to be a government official"
(b) it shall be punished as follows "all punishments shall be fined for no more than $1,000 and have no more than 10 minutes jail time
(c) Sentencing will be decided by the courts.

Veto

This bill is hereby vetoed for the following reasons:
- I consulted with cabinet and we agree that the definition of impersonation is much too vague.
- Cabinet also agrees that with roles and usernames, this bill really isn't needed as staff manage who is in what position. There's no real way to impersonate a government official as an individual cannot change their own roles.
