TO
Amend the Constitution


The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Information on National Function and Operations Act' or ‘INFO Act’.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Rep. Chaos_Canadian.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Sen. Vernicia.

2 - Reasons
(1) Currently, there is no requirement of the president to provide any regular updates on the state of Redmont to neither the people nor the elected legislature.


3 - Amendment
(1) The President is both the Head of State and Head of Government. The President is responsible for the execution and enforcement of the law. The President shall be required, at least once during the third month after the presidential election, to give to the Congress and people of Redmont information of the state of the nation, and recommend to their consideration such measures as the President shall judge necessary and expedient. In the event the President is unable to attend, a substitute may be appointed by the President from his cabinet or the vice president. In case of an absence or removal of The President from office, the Acting President or new President shall take on these responsibilities.
