The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Judicial Vacancy Amendment"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by Representative Westray
2 - Purpose
(1) The purpose of this amendment will be to reinstate the Speaker’s responsibility to preside over a case should there not be a Judge able to, as defined in the previous constitution.
3 - Constitutional Amendment
(1) Added to “Congress”, Under “Speaker of the House of Representatives”:
“In the event of a vacant court, or that no Judge is in the capacity to preside over such a case, the Speaker may preside.”
