Repeal legislation that is redundant and outdated​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “LDV Outdated Repeals for Relevancy Act"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons

I wonder what it could've been if I had snakes in the mix
Actually, I never wanna know 'cause we made it like this
Shots gotta fly either way, now I make it or miss

Bet against me, don't know where they getting their odds from
I know that when it's done, I'm going wherever God's from
But I still don't know where I get the calm from

I told you everything is fine, dawg, but I lied
I be tryna draw the line, but it's a fine line
And I'm drownin' out the noise from the sideline
Sometime it's louder than the voice I got in my mind
I can't even hear myself when I get quiet time
Like, how they tellin' me I'm done, when I'm in my prime?
They've been tryna push a narrative since '09
And they even had my ass convinced a couple times
But that ain't even the half, I had tougher times
Only look for sympathy inside my mother's eyes
And it's whatever with them politicians on the other side
We got problems we could never really put aside
I cracked the door for us all, put my foot inside
I tried to kill them boys with kindness, but they wouldn't die
So now I kill 'em all for acting like they couldn't die

3 - Reasons

(1) There are several bills that clutter the Acts of Congress page that have little to no relevance today, outright unlawful, or are unrealistic in their expectation of enforcement resulting in a lack of enforcement.
(2) The reasoning for each removal will be noted, in order mirroring the order of Section 4:
(a) This bill mandates that players receive a guide book with an updated list of government jobs. This is an unrealistic expectation given how often government jobs can change, and has never been enforced for over a year.
(b) This bill unlawfully repealed a constitutional amendment, and is no longer relevant.
(c) This bill relates to outdated standing orders, not relevant.
(d) This bill puts an unrealistic expectation on departments and is not relevant.
(e) This bill was for a UBI trial period, however bills afterwards codified it as permanent. Therefore it is not relevant.
(f) This bill attempts to recategorize laws in the rules and laws page, whereas it is not necessary as the speaker’s office has discretion over such.


4 - Terms
(1) The acts specified in Section 5 will be repealed and rescinded upon the passage of this bill. The dates beside them are the dates to which they were posted, for ease of removal.

5 - Repeals
(1) Hereby removes and repeals the Starter Pack Act [May 23 2020]
(2) Hereby removes and repeals the RPPCCA Act [February 10 2021]
(3) Hereby removes and repeals the ESOC Act [February 10 2021]
(4) Hereby removes and repeals the Bonus Act [March 12 2021]
(5) Hereby removes and repeals the Universal Basic Income Trial Period Act [March 25 2021]
(6) Hereby removes and repeals the Mass Recategorization Act [September 12 2021]
