RESOLUTION
To

Expand Medicare Coverage​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives and Senators in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
This Resolution may be cited as the 'Medicare Expansion Resolution' or 'MedEx'.
This Resolution shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
This Resolution has been authored by Rep. RylandW and Rep. lcn.
This Resolution has been cosponsored by Deputy Speaker zLost.

2 - Reasons
(1) One's financial situation should not matter when it comes to one's health.
(2) Citizens already pay taxes.
(3) The price of leg splints and bandages is negligible.
(a) At a price of $4 per stack of logs, a leg splint (6 sticks) costs less than $0.05 to make.
(b) At a price of $4 per stack of wool, and $1.50 per stack of sugarcane, a bandage (1 wool + 8 paper) costs $0.25 to make.

3 - Terms
Medicare now covers all costs for treatment at Department of Health-operated healthcare centers.
