Case Filing

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
CIVIL ACTION

Monacht (Represented by Dragon Law Firm)
Plaintiff

V.

MikeOxlonger1
Defendant

COMPLAINT
The Plaintiff complains against the Defendant as follows:
On January 27th, 2025, MikeOxlonger1 attacked and harassed the Plaintiff numerous times.

I. PARTIES
1. Monacht (Plaintiff)
2. MixeOxlonger1 (Defendant)

II. FACTS

  1. On the 27th of January, 2025, the Plaintiff was in spawn, before going on a walk through the city.
  2. MikeOxlonger1 attacked the Plaintiff from behind with a Diamond Axe, bringing her to two (2) full hearts. The Plaintiff proceeded to back away, shooting and killing MikeOxlonger1.
  3. The Plaintiff then publicly identified that she was attempting to take a walk. After dying again at the hands of another party, she deliberately attempted to leave spawn in a different direction from where MikeOxlonger1 was.
  4. MikeOxlonger1 chased down and followed the Plaintiff, threatening her with a gun.
  5. The Plaintiff warned MikeOxlonger1 of physical self-defense by saying ‘i’ll shoot dude’, in which MikeOxlonger1 said “do it” in an attempt to provoke a gunfight. The Plaintiff proceeded to shoot and kill MikeOxlonger1.

III. CLAIMS FOR RELIEF
  1. The Legal Damages Act states that emotional damage is a circumstance in which ‘a person suffers psychological harm due to an entity's negligent or intentional actions.’ MikeOxlonger1 clearly demonstrated his intention by unprovoked attacking and following my client fully armed, and the provocation in order to force the Plaintiff to kill or be killed. This caused significant psychological harm as it forced them to be always armed when in Reveille, and there was a lack of safety in what should be a completely safe area of the city.
  2. The Plaintiff was unable to appreciate the architecture accumulated over years by skilled architects and builders by the actions of MikeOxlonger1, as there was a clear and present danger in which the Plaintiff was forced to check behind them to be aware of an armed assailant, and defend themselves when necessary.
  3. MikeOxlonger1 deliberately destroyed a stress-free, relaxing and enjoyable environment traditionally created by the City of Reveille. It should be an assurance that the citizens can walk the streets without fear of danger, but this has caused irreparable wounds as it’s signaled to the Plaintiff as they cannot spend time in Reveille without watching for imminent danger, causing significant anxiety in a situation that shouldn’t warrant it.

IV. PRAYER FOR RELIEF
The Plaintiff seeks the following from the Defendant:
  1. Consequential Damages
    1. Emotional Damages: $5,000 for emotional distress caused by the sudden threat on her life and the fear induced by the defendant’s threatening behavior, including following the plaintiff with a gun through the city, as well as the necessity to kill another in self-defense.
    2. Loss of Enjoyment of Redmont: $8,500 for the inability to enjoy Redmont while attempting to appreciate the architectural heritage of the City of Reveille, due to being followed, provoked, and the fear of being attacked.
  2. Punitive Damages
  • $10,000 in punitive damages to penalize the Defendant for their outrageous conduct, which included repeated attacks, threats with a firearm, intimidation, and persistent harassment, and to deter the Defendant from similar actions.
3. Legal Fees
  • $7,050 in Legal Fees (30% of the case’s value) to cover the costs the Plaintiff incurred by hiring Dragon Law Firm as legal counsel in this matter.

Defense is present

Could the defense confirm whether the defendant is banned/deported?

As deported players do not have rights, yet claims of the plaintiff still need to be substantiated with evidence, I will allow the plaintiff to present any evidence they would have presented normally in discovery within 48 hours. Following this, I will be issuing a summary judgement.

Thank you, your honor. May I request to additionally submit a brief opening statement? This would be to give a deeper insight into the evidence and provide some more context into this case. If allowed, this would be submitted in the same timeframe as given for additional evidence. Again, thank you, your honor.

I will allow you one sentence per piece of evidence presented.

This evidence is to clearly show that MikeOxlonger1 is an individual who continually shows hostility and bullies other players with no regard for their wellbeing, proving why punitive damages are required.

Thank you for your time.

Court is in recess pending a verdict.

Plaintiff, please answer within 24 hours:

What was Monacht attempting to do while walking and being followed by MikeOxlonger1?

Plaintiff, please answer within 24 hours:

What was Monacht attempting to do while walking and being followed by MikeOxlonger1?

Your Honor, Monacht was attempting to explore the city and view the accumulated architecture of Reveille while being followed, harassed and attacked by the Defendant. At the time, she was still an new player, not even capable of legally consenting to a contract in some situations, and had not priorly spent the time to run around the city as many players are able to do. Thank you, Your Honor.
