Change and refresh the driving laws

The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:


1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the "New Driving Law Act".
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was authored by Representative Th0re_

2 - Purpose
(1) The purpose of this bill is to combine the two driving laws 14.1 and 14.2 into one.
(2) The Punishments will be new and fitted to the new law.

3 - Reasons
(1) The usage of cars is not as high to have two laws, they can easily be combined in one law.
(2) Combining those laws will clearify the laws and punishments to make them more understandable.

4 – Terms
Replace "14.1 - Careless Driving
Driving on the sidewalk or anywhere off the road.
Per Offence: $40 Fine.

14.2 - Reckless Driving
Driving in a way that endangers drivers or pedestrians or that interferes with the traffic such as; blocking the street by driving too slowly; driving on the wrong side of the road; and or ramming other cars.
Per Offence: $100 Fine.

With "14.1 - Careless Driving
Driving on the sidewalk or anywhere off the road or not as a road or drivable area assigned or marked region; blocking the street and or traffic; not driving in an appropriate speed (driving too slowly or too fast); driving on the wrong side of the road; driving in a way that endangers drivers or pedestrians; driving in the wrong direction.
First Offence: $40 Fine + Verbal Warning
Second Offence: $60 Fine
Third Offence: $100 Fine.

Nay - careless and reckless are two different things. One is on purpose and the other is negligence. Let the officer decide.

(1) This Act may be cited as the “Careless Driving Amendment act”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was penned by representative BubbaRC

2 -Amendments
(1) (a) shall be replaced with (b)
(a) Driving on the sidewalk or anywhere off the road or not as a road or drivable area assigned or marked region; blocking the street and or traffic; not driving in an appropriate speed (driving too slowly or too fast); driving on the wrong side of the road; driving in a way that endangers drivers or pedestrians; driving in the wrong direction.
(b) Driving on the sidewalk or anywhere off the road or not as a road or drivable area assigned or marked region with the exception of on your own plot; blocking the street and or traffic; not driving in an appropriate speed (driving too slowly or too fast); driving on the wrong side of the road; driving in a way that endangers drivers or pedestrians; driving in the wrong direction.

Aye - The actual law about careless driving is very very very vague, this amedment is definitely needed
