To
Establish the Office of the Solicitor General.

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Office of the Solicitor General Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted when the first presidential term after its signage begins.
(3)Authored by "Milkcrack"

2- Solicitor General.
-The Solicitor General is the head of the Office of the Solicitor General.
-The Solicitor general is responsible for defending the government in the courts and advising cabinet and congress on legal issues.
-The Attorney General shall be removed as a General Advisors and the Solicitor General shall be added as a Principal Officers.
-All references to the Attorney General shall be replaced with Solicitor General

3- Solicitor General’s office
-The Office of the Solicitor General is in charge of supervising and conducting cases in which the government is a party.
-The Office of the Solicitor General is in charge of filing amicus curiae briefs in which the government has an interest in.
-The Office of the Solicitor General may hire Public Prosecutors who are charged with prosecuting criminal and defending criminal appeal charges.
-All references to the Attorney General's Office shall be replaced with The office of the Solicitor General.

4- Congress in the courts
-Congress has the ability to separate itself from the executive branch in a court case, with a simple majority in both houses.
-If Congress needs to represent itself in court they may choose someone else then the Solicitor General to represent them in a particular case this person needs to be approved in both houses but doesn’t need to be a lawyer as long as he/she is a member of the legislative branch.
