Grant citizens of Redmont the opportunity to formally seek Power of Attorney for their company--or personal--finances and any necessary assets during their absence
The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Power of Attorney Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons for Proposal
(1) In the absence of a company's owner its state becomes, and remains, highly volatile for the duration of their absence which necessitates that the business owner retain the right to, in good faith, place the company in the hands of another individual for the time being.
(2) While this is currently permitted informally it is important to codify into law so that individuals may not be denied the right to keep their company afloat should unforeseen circumstances arise.
3 - Introduction of Power of Attorney for business owners and their companies.
(1) An individual can at any time appoint a person to be responsible for their company or personal finances and assets during their absence. The appointed individual shall maintain the owners specified companies, personal property, specified finances, and any ongoing business until such time that the business owner returns.
(1.2) Although staff cannot transfer the company itself, Power of Attorney shall allow a blanket approval for the specified period to make decisions with staff recognition.
(1.2a) Staff recognition for any action, or set of actions, must be sought out through a server support ticket.
(1.2b) Although staff remain a separate entity from the federal government this cannot be codified without bringing them in as a part of the process due to the placement of an individual in a managerial position being another process which is only handled by staff.
(2) The remuneration for taking over responsibility for the company is agreed upon in advance by means of contract between an individual, chosen by the company's owner, and the company owner itself.
(3) The owner of the company can, at any time, shorten and even terminate the absence and the assumption of responsibility given that it does not pose a disproportionately negative impact on the server economy.
(3.1) The owner of the company may not extend the assumption of responsibility without first discussing it with the individual left responsible for company operations, or without consent from that individual.
(3.2) Any changes made to the company in the duration of time in which an individual retains Power of Attorney over another player's assets must be appropriately specified to the necessary staff members or government officials.
(4) After the clarified absence is ended, the company and its possessions will be returned to the original owner. If any discrepancies arise during this period of Power of Attorney either player is consequently entitled to seek legal action.
