Prevent Serial Murder

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:


1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Serial Murder Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) Some citizens murder other citizens and just take the murder charges and keep killing.

3 - Revisement
(1) Murder punishment shall be revised in the following way:
(a) First offense: $100 fine + 10 minutes of jail time
(b) Second offense: $200 fine + 30 minutes of jail time (+1 minute of jail for every $10 the offender could not pay)
(c) Third and subsequent offenses: A minimum of $200 but maximum of $5,000 fine, a minimum of 30 minutes but maximum of 2 hours of jail time, possible deregistration of companies, possible revocation of licenses, at the court’s discretion per offense. The court shall also have the power to extend jail time beyond the maximum in the event that the offender cannot fulfill the monetary fine.
(2) In the event that someone commits a third or subsequent offense, the responding Officer shall apply the minimum punishment pending a court ruling.
