Repeal the Ethics Commission Act


The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:​

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Repeal the Ethics Commission Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was authored by Representative GoldBlooded
(4) This Bill was co-sponsored by Senator Nacholebraa.

2 - Reasons
(1) Unneeded and unnecessary. This commission serves to only bloat the Government of the Commonwealth of Redmont with unneeded bureaucracy.
(2) Ethics can and should be under the oversight of the Congress, as it has in the past.
(3) This commission has not been used whatsoever by the former and incumbent administrations.
(4) The singular member who had been appointed by the former administration left the discord shortly within his tenure, effectively resigning his position.

3 - Terms
(1) Repeals the "Ethics Commission Act" in its entirety.
