Bill: Rejected Repeal These Acts Act

To
Repeal Multiple Laws​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Repeal These Acts Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been co-authored by Senator TheReal42Person and Vice President lcn.
(4) This Act has been proposed by Representative MathTech.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Representative AsexualDinosaur.

2 - Reasons
(1) The Enclave Establishment Act is not used and unnecessary.
(2) The Tenant Vibes Act is redundant with the passage of the Tenant Rights Act, and should be repealed.
(3) The RI LDV Government Trading Act amended two separate Acts that have both been repealed, and is therefore null and void.
(4) The Tech Toch Act is currently not used by the Department of Homeland Security, and it takes away from criminal roleplay.
(5) The Verbally Threatening Act is very vague and is almost the same definition of Assault. A new definition for verbal threats should be written and attached to the Standardized Criminal Code.
(6) The Open Charge Act is unfair to players that have committed crimes, as their punishments are being increased for simply being inactive. Additionally, the DHS has no interest in continuing this activity.
(7) The Illegal Auto Consent Area Act is redundant by the Castle Doctrine Act. Players also have a right to put whatever signs they want on their property, and should be allowed to have Auto-Consent Areas, as players are not obligated to stay on that plot.
(8) The Anti Down Bad VPs Act is outdated, as the Vice President no longer has access to unfiltered audit responses anyway.
(9) The Bank Trespass Act is in conflict with the Tresspassing and Theft Offenses Act.

3 - Repealed
(1) The following Acts shall be repealed:
(a) Enclave Establishment Act
(b) Tenant Vibes Act
(c) RI LDV Government Trading Act
(d) Tech Toch Act
(e) Verbally Threatening Act
(f) Open Charge Act
(g) Illegal Auto Consent Area Act
(h) Anti Down Bad VPs Act
(i) Bank Trespass Act

Since the Senate has tied, I will be voting NAY.

I encourage Congress to motion to reconsider and amend this bill, with the following changes:

- Remove the Tech Toch Act from the list of repealed acts, as it is used, and does increase role-play, by allowing long inactive players to get another shot at the server.

- Remove the Open Charge Act from the list of repealed acts, as it goes hand in hand with the Tech Toch Act. Additionally, I encourage Congress to consolidate these two acts into one, as it is unnecessary for them to be separate acts.

- Amend the definition of Assault, via amending the Violent Offences Act, to include verbal threats, should the Verbally Threatening Act be repealed.
