Case Filing
IN THE FEDERAL COURT OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
CIVIL ACTION
TheGreat_Boi (Represented by Mezimori Legal Department)
Plaintiff
v.
The Commonwealth of Redmont
Defendant
COMPLAINT
The Plaintiff complains against the Defendant as follows:
The Government is unjustly and illegally minting new money, through the use of government fines and a loophole within the creation of negative balances. This is not only illegal, but damaging to the economy, creating an inflationary effect. The use of negative balances should be managed, regulated, and monitored by the most relevant legal entity to do so, The Federal Reserve.
I. PARTIES
1. TheGreat_Boi (Plaintiff)
2. The Commonwealth of Redmont (Defendant)
II. FACTS
1. In a situation where a government entity fines someone for more money than they currently have, the player fined pays all the money they can, and then goes into a negative balance worth the negative amount of the remaining money they have not paid. However, the government entity that fined the player receives all of the money that the fine was worth, including the money that the player didn't have. In simpler terms, the player does not pay the entire fine (because they cant), but the government entity responsible for the fine receives the full fine (more than which the player paid) This results in a creation of currency that didn't exist beforehand, without going through the proper minting procedures of The Commonwealth of Redmont.
2. There is no guarantee that a player with a negative balance will be able to, or try and recover their negative balance in order to offset the newly minted money.
III. CLAIMS FOR RELIEF
1. According to the Federal Reserve Act, section 6 states that only the Federal Reserve can decide when the government is allowed to mint new funds. Therefore, when a government entity mints new money through the use of negative balances, they are violating this clause, and illegally minting new money. This is a mismanagement of funds, and harms the economy as a whole.
2. According to the Legal Damages Act the Plaintiff is entitled to remedy for incalculable impact to the economy, as well as a breach of trust in the government as a citizen of the commonwealth.
IV. PRAYER FOR RELIEF
The Plaintiff seeks the following from the Defendant:
1. $25,000 in consequential damages for the worsening of an existing condition -- inflation is an existing condition that was made worse by the uncontrolled printing of money. It devalues the hard-earned dollar that the plaintiff and other citizens work for.
2. $50,000 in punitive damages for the gross misconduct of the government in mishandling public funds for several years and putting people in worse economic positions while doing so. The government treasury already makes up a sizable portion of the total economy, yet the government circumvents the Federal Reserve, recklessly printing more money.
3. $20,000 in legal fees - 30% of the value of this case.
V. EVIDENCE
By making this submission, I agree I understand the penalties of lying in court and the fact that I am subject to perjury should I knowingly make a false statement in court.
