Establish Offences under the Standardized Criminal Code

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Tresspassing and Theft Offenses Act'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by: The_Donuticus

2 - Reasons
The current system of sorting crimes is too chaotic and messy. This Act exists as part of the Standardized Criminal Code package of bills to address this.

3 - Criminal Code
The Tresspassing and Theft Offenses Act will establish the crimes outlined in '4 - Offences' as an extension of the Standardized Criminal Code Act.

4 - Offences
(1) ATM Robbery (Original: BlogWorldExpo - May 27, 2022)
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of stealing money from an ATM or attempting to hack an ATM.
Per Offense: $100 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time

(2) Bank Robbery (Original: ElainaThomas29 - Apr 13, 2021)
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of trespassing specifically within the bank’s vault. This crime overrides Trespass.
Per Offense: $4000 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time

(3) NPC Robbery (Original: Claxx77 - Nov 15, 2022)
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of stealing or attempting to steal money from NPCs.
Per Offense: $100 Fine

(4) Trespass (Original: Icypenguin79 - Feb 21, 2021)
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of entering or being in a place without the consent of the owner, occupier or person having control or management of the place; or to remain in the place after being requested by a person in authority to leave the place.
Per Offense: $100 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time

(5) Unauthorized Office Ownership (Original: Baole444 - Dec 14, 2021)
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of stealing or taking control over government office they have no claim to by way of working for the relevant government body.
Per Offense: $100 Fine
