Effectively Apply Amendments​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Amendment Application Act”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Purpose
(1) The purpose of this bill is to establish a formal process for applying amendments.

3 - Subforum
(1) The Acts of Congress shall be split into two categories, Bills and Constitutional Amendments.
(2) Bills will remain in the same Acts of Congress subforum, however inside of the Acts of Congress, a new subforum for constitutional amendments, titled “Constitutional Amendments” will be established.
(a) All constitutional amendments will be put in the "Constitutional Amedments" subforum upon its signage.

4 - Amendments
(1) When an amendment to a bill passes, it will be added as a reply to the original act’s thread under the Bills in Acts of Congress.
(2) The original act will be edited and updated as new amendments are added to it.

5 - Organization of Acts
(1) All bills will be edited to create the following format directly at the top of such law:

Senate Vote: <Ayes>-<Abstains>-<Nays>
Amending Acts:
- <Links any amending acts in the replies below (Proposed By Rep)>

This bill has recieved presidential assent and is hereby signed into law.​
