Add Assassinations to the Law​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Assassinations Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Rep. zLost.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. YeetGlazer.

2 - Reasons
(1) Provide an incentive to assassinate the President.
(2) Provide an incentive for possibly a secret service and encourage body guards for the President.

3 - Definitions
(1) "Intent to assassinate" shall be defined as being under the effect of the /assassinate command.
(2) "Assassination" is the act of killing the president with intent to assassinate.
(3) "Assassin" is the person who is currently in "assassination mode".

4 - Assassinations
(1) A command "/assassinate" shall be added, which anyone except the President can run. The person running the command, upon running it, will be warned and asked to confirm if they wish to run it. This command will be disabled in the events world, wilderness, everwild, the nether and the end.
(a) Upon running the command, Police Officers and the President, if they are within 50 blocks of the assassin, shall immediately be notified of the assassination, the identity of the assassin and how far they are away from them in blocks. The sound entity.ravager.roar will play along with the notification.
(b) Once 10 seconds have passed, the assassin will enter "assassination mode" which lasts 1 minute. During this time period, if they kill the President, the President will have been considered assassinated.
(c) Once the assassin enters assassination mode, they are given a wanted point which lasts 15 minutes. Police Officers will have to catch them within this period. Once caught, they shall be charged with assassination. During this period, the assassin is not able to use any elytra, public transportation, the airport, any commands which allow them to teleport (/spawn, /airport, /home, etc.).
(d) If the person is caught, they will have a cooldown of 2 days before they can run the command again. If they get away, they will have a cooldown of 1 day before they can run the command again. The command will have a 1 hour server-wide cooldown.
(e) This command can only be used if the person running it is within 50 blocks of the President.
(2) Any person may check how many times the President has been assassinated using the command "/assassinations".
(3) If the President is assassinated 25 times during their term, they will be considered incapacitated for 3 days.
(4) If the President is assassinated 60 times during their term, they will be considered incapacitated.

5 - Amendment
The Violent Offences Act (link) will have the following added:

The act of attempting to destabilize the Government through assassination. This crime overrides treason.
Per Offense: $10000 + 60 Minutes Jail Time
