Repair Old Unicameral Bills

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Bicameral Repair Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by Senator hugebob23456

2 - Reasons
(1) Many old bills are structured for a unicameral Congress, which we no longer have.

3 - Terms
(1) The “Cabinet Approval Act” shall be amended such that clause 4 be removed and clause 3 be amended to replace “Advisory Secretary” with “President”.
(2) The “Congressional Subpoena Power Act” shall be amended such that clause 1 state that “Any member of either chamber of Congress” rather than “Any member of the Congress”, and clause 2 state “Should a majority of the same chamber of Congress” rather than “Should a majority of the Congress”. A 5th clause shall be added: “If a chamber approves a motion of subpoena, they may invite members of the other chamber of Congress to attend the hearing as well. If the House began the motion the Speaker shall preside, if the Senate began the motion the President Pro Tempore shall preside, unless the officer expressly yields presiding power to someone else.”
(3) The “Special Election Act” shall be amended such that clause 1 state “Either chamber of Congress with a vacant seat may motion” instead of “Congress may motion”. Clause 6 shall be removed. Clause 7 shall state “the relevant Chamber of Congress” rather than “Congress”. A new 8th clause shall be added which shall state: “For all Special Election motions, all vacancies in the relevant chamber shall be contested in the Special Election. Neither Chamber can motion for a Special Election to fill vacancies in the opposite Chamber.” A new 9th clause shall be added which shall state: “Either Chamber may propose a joint Special Election motion which would require approval from both Chambers of Congress and would open Special Elections to fill all vacancies across both Chambers.”
(4) The “Hallway Decoration Act” shall be amended such that clause 2 state “both houses of Congress” rather than “the Congress”
