The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the "Constitutional Amendment (III) March 2021" or "Voting Age Act March 2021"
(2) This act shall take effect after a Referendum is held.
(3) Co-Authored with _Austin27_

2 - Reason Some new players join the server and play for maybe one or two hours and then leave forever. There are some players who maybe have played in the past but then are inactive for four months.

In the first instance, players who join the server and play for such a short period of time are voting merely off of who's campaign gets to them first. And for the second instance, those players haven't been a part of the community for months and are therefore voting based off of either what they remember or again, which campaign got to them first.

These two instances should be limited in order to ensure that the people who are voting in our elections are active and engaged members of the community so they vote based off of their personal judgement and not the judgement of others.

3 - Voting Requirements
(1) In order for a player to vote in any federal election, congressional or Presidential, the player must meet the following requirements:
(2) The citizen must have at least 6 hours of playtime
(3) The citizen must have logged onto the server within one month of the polls opening for the election they wish to vote in.

4 - Department of State
(1) The Department of State is charged with counting votes and ensuring election integrity. Therefore, should the citizen not meet the previously stated requirements but have voted anyway, their vote will be eliminated.

5 - Amending the Constitution
(1) Under Section IV titled "Rights & Freedoms" the following should be changed:
(2) "II. The right to vote in elections." shall be changed to "II. The right to vote in elections, only if the citizen meets the voting requirements."
(3) “III. The right to vote a Government official out of his or her office.” shall be changed to “III. The right to vote a Government official out of his or her office as long as the citizen meets the voting requirements."

Nay - The reasonable limits act covers "only if the citizen meets the voting requirements." & everyone should be able to vote.
