A
BILL
To
Amend the Constitution

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Executive Agreed Pocket Veto Amendment”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reason
(1) The Legislative has voiced its discomfort with the current pocket veto abilities the President holds, a compromise was reached with the executive of 5 days and the bill would be auto-vetoed. This bill will uphold that compromise.

3 - Amendment
(1) Added to Section 1 “The Congress”:
“Once the bill has passed through Congress, it is then sent to the President for their approval. The President has 5 days to sign or veto a bill otherwise the bill will be auto-vetoed."

Nay - this is a double-up
