Create a National Commonwealth Day​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
This Act may be cited as the ‘Heritage, Observance, and National Occasion of Remembrance Act’ or the ‘HONOR Act’.
This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
To establish a national day of recognition commemorating the founding of DemocracyCraft, and to encourage activity in celebration of this day.
To provide additional monetary bonuses to those who join the server during this day

3 - Commonwealth Day Incentives
April 12th in the EDT (UTC-5) timezone of each year shall be officially known as ‘Commonwealth Day’.
All players who log into the server on Commonwealth Day shall receive a one-time $100 lump sum payment from the DCGovernment balance. This payment is applicable once annually per player.
For the duration of Commonwealth Day, all Universal Basic Income (UBI) payments shall be increased by 25% automatically. This increase will be reverted upon the end of Commonwealth Day. This law warrants that the UBI adjustment may not take effect in-game at the exact times bordering Commonwealth Day, and this law waives all legal claims arising under such instances.

Nay - We have a national day already. Also, the amount of work required to make this work for $100 extra dollars is not worth the effort. We can spend our money better than this.
