Criminalize Organized Crime

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This bill may be cited as the "Organized Crime Act"
(2) This bill will be enacted immediately upon signage
(3) This bill was penned by Representative BubbaRC

2 - Reasons
As it currently stands there is so specific punishment for organized crime

3 - Organized Crime
(1) A new crime of organized crime shall be implemented under Miscellaneous laws
(2) Organized crime shall be defined as "The act of creating or joining a group of people dedicated to committing crime, this and conspiracy to commit a crime are mutually exclusive when it comes to charging somebody for this crime"
(3) The punishments are as follows
"Leading Individual(s): any of $100-$2,500 fined, 5-30 minutes jail time, or barring from running in any elections this act was involved in
Supporting Individual(s): any of $50-$1,250 fined, 5-15 minutes jail time, or barring from any running in elections this act was involved in
The group shall be ordered to disband by the courts and may be tried again if it is still found to be operating in two weeks
all punishments of this crime shall be issued through the courts"

Edit: Lowered maximum fines and added "The group shall be ordered to disband by the courts and may be tried again if it is still found to be operating in two weeks," lowered maximum fine once more and changed the definition to make it mutually exclusive with conspiracy to commit a crime
