Reform Defense of Villagers​

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Reformed Defense of Villagers Act”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by Representative Westray

2 - Purpose
(1) The purpose of this bill is to revise and update protections for villagers.

3 - Repeal
(1) Hereby repeal and rescinds the “Villages and Villagers Protection Act 2020”
(2) Hereby repeal and rescinds the “Freedom of Villagers Act”

4 - Changes to the Rules and Laws
(1) Hereby removes “Neglect” from the laws.
(2) Hereby adds the following law to PvP & Trespassing:
Hereby adds the following law to PvP & Trespassing:
Villager Murder
Killing a villager.
Per Offence: $800 Fine + 10 Minutes Jail, made payable to the owner of the region (if applicable).

Amend the Reformed Defense of Villagers Act​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “A Cool Villager Murder Fine Amendment Act"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This bill was authored by Representative A__C.
(4) This Act is co-sponsored by Senator Derpy_Bird.
(5) This bill was approved by Justice Secretary ElainaThomas29.

2 - Reasons
(1) The current Act only states there is a $800 murder for killing a villager. Some people spend time and effort teaching their villagers new skills, interacting with them, and housing them. Those people should be compensated for the death of their beloved villager friends, as people are compensated for the death of their pets.

3 - Amendment
(1) Change the terms of the Reformed Defense of Villagers Act from:
Hereby adds the following law to PvP & Trespassing:
Villager Murder
Killing a villager.
Per Offence: $800 Fine + 10 Minutes Jail

To:
Hereby adds the following law to PvP & Trespassing:
Villager Murder
Killing a villager.
Per Offence: $800 Fine + 10 Minutes Jail, made payable to the owner of the region (if applicable).
